YT: I'm sure that this was nothing that Stevenson intended but when you're throwing a lot of ideas together you may be sometimes lose control of your narratives. In pre-biblical times the Jewish religion was sort of polytheistic and so there were other gods including Asheroth who was like his wife basically. By the time it got codified into the bible they kind of like cut out Asheron they cut out the other gods and we didn't know we just worship this one god, YT says.
