The left's universal premise has always been that any right political victory, electoral or otherwise, is inherently illegitimate. We can see the next iteration of this format in descriptions of right political progress as white supremacy and therefore worthy of suppression by armed force. It will end where it always ends, in blood. Another regime knows this, which is why it has ramped up its terror machine against anyone who is perceived to be a threat.
