Democracy Is the Political Equivalent of Er, the Scientific Revolutionary Liveral
A liberal democracy is an error correcting system. It doesn't automatically create good, it weeds out the bad. When people worry to day about arise in demagogery, for example, or you're reasonably confident that there that the system, yes, correcton mechanisms, we're kicking to gear. This this is, i mean, i can't say how little i'm concerned about that danger. If civilization is going to be destroyed. It's not going to be destroyed by some government taking power and then not relinquishing it. The political tradition is judged by whether it can remove bad policies and bad leaders peacefully.
