The Importance of Understanding the History of a Business

The S&P 500 is where Warren Buffett says you should put all your money. We have a slight disagreement with that, but I do see that because you have 25 plus 12 and a half,. There is seven now, you have and then you've got the S&P there. And if you're really thinking about making your investment business a combination of these four or any other portfolio, why wouldn't you want to look at the history of the businesses that you're about to buy?
