Ford is cutting prices where the vehicle's already most expensive. Some analysts are saying this is just a response to Tesla. Ford had planned for the market to be profitable from unit one. It's unprofitable because of rising input costs, commodities. But their plan now ramp up volume production, make more of them and improve margins.
