What Is the Etymology of the Word Parable?

i was glad to see ing king james. I'm an english guy, and i think this is one of the great works of english literature. These are not fantastical stories that, you know, require our imagin ation. They bring us from there. And in that way, it's kind of like the incarnation itself, the infleshment of god in the human circumstance.
