The Importance of Syntax in Programming

Pearl for me was always an interesting one because you could do stuff in it, you couldn't do it in any of the language. The problem is you could do it four or five different ways and they all worked. It's almost the opposite of like the Zen of Python was like, there should be only one, preferably only one way to do it.
