The Trend Following Game Has Changed Since the 80s
I started right after Richard Dennis in February 1988 and I immediately kind of had since enough to know that I should have a target return a lot less than 200%. The biggest change slash only change we've really made over the years has been to trade longer term as the markets became choppier. Liquidity is more better. Diversification is better. But it would be nicer to trade shorter term, but it's still a very profitable way to manage money. A lot of these trends that you're seeing these days are in very violently. I would hope that people would exercise more discretion.
