American Muslim historian Professor Jonathan A.C. Brown in a recent article asked how was homosexuality dealt with in pre-modern Islamic civilization? And he answered and I quote, the short answer is that it wasn't. Of course, Muslim jurists knew that homosexuality existed all around them and they disapproved unexpectedly.
