Composition in Film Pre-Production
I like something that cuts the frame and focuses, the audience's attention in a way on something you want them to be looking at. You can sometimes turn the whole action around the other way. Another element of composition can be what the focus is on. It's also about your aspect ratio. I don't think there are any hard and fast rules when it comes to how much light goes into each shot or which character gets where they're going with their shots. But we still had a clear conception of each scene in our heads before we started shooting. And some stuff we storyboarded extensively, but others we didn't.
