The Elephant Man and David's Travels

The actor never really fit into any particular genre of any sort. As I was able to, through my own research, unite his biography with his work, the rationale for choosing certain films became much more eliminating. The Elephant Man in particular, you get to a point where at that point in the movie, his character is speaking for him. That happened more often than not. In fact, the last statement that he makes in the movie where he's within the logic of the film, he's passed on and he talks about never waste a day. It's what you do with your life that matters.
