Erno Goldfinger, the Concrete Hopia

Erno Goldfinger, the architect was married to Isabelle Blackwell. Her cousin played golf with Ian Fleming. The family all hated Erno Goldfinger because he was so mean and nasty. And Ian Fleming didn't like him because he'd more or less some houses in Hampstead that had been there before. He demolished these cottages which were part of his property portfolio. That's why he called him Goldfinger. But they settled out of court after a 20-year grudge between them.
