The Importance of Compatibility in Programming
The act of programming is you have to be comfortable with your own weaknesses and inferiorities. I like that pessimism as a driving factor. Like, just assume that you're doing something wrong. And so you need to balance that out with something good. In terms of working in it, unfortunately, I'm afraid it's a losing battle. There's complexity wins in the end.
