The Scars of Being Beat as a Kid

There's a good chunk of my special that's about getting beat as a kid. My therapist said it happens all the time. I'm not bad. It's just this whole generation didn't have the tools. Well, I had to learn that with my kid. Once you're seeing him grow up and you're at his age, you start remembering the things that happened to you during that time. And then laughing is saying, we get you. We heard what you said.
