The Role of Women in the Church

Women did have opportunities to share and speak the truth of God in the church but these women were not a part of the priestesses meaning they were not elders. Mary would have been devolved upon no one more than Mary to fulfill the priestly function now so what he's doing is he represents the idea that the new covenant is breaking off of the old covenant.
