How Did Traveling During High School Affect Your Life?

I definitely felt very alienated. And i didn't feel like i had much in common with the people that i was going to school with. The county that i'm from, in northern california, is the whitest county in all california,. Like the least amount of diversity whil in the entire state we've been. We've been it's like 96 or 97 % caucasian. So seeingthe different perspectives from other ethnicities and cultures made me feel so much more understanding towards the outside world. It put a lot of daily irritations that people have, especially at a young age, looke, totally into perspective.
