The Dalai Lama and Keller

He represented, we've talked a lot on the show about how so much of white evangelicalism is defined by the southern stream. And Keller represented obviously a New York stream of it. He wasn't a New York native, but he as ministry was there and he understood what it meant to bring the gospel to a community that was very affluent, very professional and very secular. His point of view often clashed with what was going on in southern white evangelicalism. But overall, my respect for him was through the roof.
