The Emmett Till and Mamie-Till National Monument
The Emmett Till and Mamie-Till National Monument will be spread over three sites. The first is in Chicago at Robert's Temple Church of God and Christ on September 3rd, 1955. In Sumner, Mississippi there is the Tallahatchie County courthouse where the trial took place between September 19th and September 23st, 1955. And the last site is Greable Landing, south of the town of Glendora, which is regarded to be the site where his body was fetched up out of the TallahATCHie River.
