In our society, we've turned marriage into a contract. A covenant is a sacrificial permanent relationship that I am going to surrender rights and assume responsibilities. Only Jesus Christ can meet our deepest needs. So if you want to be the right one for someone later in life, you need to have a real relationship with Jesus.
