Benakin's father was a mark isinist in the mould of joseph trumpledor. Took up with batar after hearing jabetinski deliver one of his trade mark speeches. Was only 16 when he joined the movement, and very quickly rose to prominence. As he travelled around organizing and giving speeches, he would sleep on park benches and eat whatever people gave him.
