The Importance of Active Obedience

Gavin Orton says Protestants and Catholics are not as far apart from each other on justification as some think that they are. Lance: Gavin is incorrect overall because he's saying we're a lot closer than people think. The anathemas according to the council of Trent still stand, so they still officially in official church doctrine, damn the gospel. Sometimes I wonder when I hear Protestants teach justification like initial justification by faith in Christ, final justification based upon your works. Right? That's not correct. It's by faith plus what we do finally that well, it's no wonder we say Roman Catholics are not very far apart due to our way of thinking.
