With the birth of philosophy in the 6th century BCE, we can say that the history of Western Esotericism has properly begun. In this episode Erl Fontenelle will address a number of developments in early philosophy with long-lasting implications for our story of WesternEsotericism. We might want to start by asking what we mean by 'philosophy' and how that might relate to what we means by it nowadays.
