How Chatbots Predict the Next Word
The way that these systems are created, they're solving a very specific problem. It's how to predict the next word that somebody is going to produce. That's a problem that you as a human being can do. And so that's the same problem that the AI system is trying to solve. So it's kind of like trying to build up, just based on the experience that it has from language, a model of the world that's good enough to help it to make that prediction.
