The Neuropsychiatric Symptoms of Parkinson's Disease
There is a new-ish actual definition of prodromal PD. The symptoms include a lot of the non-motor features we've been talking about. An osmere or hyposmia is an early sign of Parkinson's disease and gives you a higher likelihood ratio score. This is very, very difficult to treat. There aren't really good medications for this. So I'm also curious if we think that RBD is part of the disease process itself or is it better thought of as a risk factor?
