The World Memory Championship
Joshua Four won the US Memory Championship in part because he had opportunity to access European brain training techniques his American counterparts hadn't discovered. When Joshua set a new US record for speed cards back in 2006, his time was one minute and 40 seconds. Today though, his methods would be way behind the curve. It's long been known that children from wealthier backgrounds tend to do better at school than poorer children. But differences in opportunity rather than genetics most significantly dictate differences in outcome.
