Econo is not jam doughnut economics, that's another book. It's torrit doughnuts however yo want to put it: ring doughnut with a hole in the middle. So the doughnut is a diagram i drew in 20 12, and it's a depiction of one way of defining human prosperity in the 20 first century. We want to leave nobody in the hole in themiddle, nobody falling short on the essentials of life. But we can't overshoot the outer ring, the planetary boundaries of the earth system.
