Cherokee Nation's Chief Appoints a Delegate

Kimberly Teahy is the executive director of government relations for Cherokee Nation. She was a staffer on the very first desk the Democrats created to reach out to Native Americans. A high school guidance counselor in Oklahoma advised her not to go to college because, quote, Indians don't finish.
