The Importance of Emotional Connection in ADHD
The first thing numero uno is that whatever it is you're going after, if it's not important to you and I was speaking to you as an ADHD or if you're a neurotypical person, you can get through something that's not important. Emotions drive our behavior, not our logic. Prefrontal cortex is the breaks for our emotional center, but it is not what drives us forward. If you don't have access to your prefrontal cortex then we are very much at the mercy of our emotional center.
