Genetically Engineer Cats to Glow in the Dark

Geneticists are trying to genetically engineer cats so that they glow in the presence of nuclear waste. The problem is, we're burying incredibly dangerous nuclear waste. How do we warn people in ten thousand years? i could see it easily happening now with mam culture, where we have these walking giger counters.
