Is This a Hoax?
The show premiered on BBC one at 9 p.m. Halloween night in 1992. The response to it afterwards was kind of brutal in the press. A lot of people accuse them of pulling a hoax. I don't think I'd necessarily call it a hoax. But influenced by hoaxes, like they get in trouble for not saying that it's fake enough.
