The Power of Awe

I like kind of appreciating how many things that have nothing to do with me. I'm north of LA, so we look at the mountain every day and I'm like, I get to see something that was here for thousands of years before I was born. My father was big into that. And there's some great books out there. Have you ever read Bill Bryson's A Short History of Newly Everything? Or Sapiens? It's right there staring at me, daring me to read it yet.
