A lot of times people feel that they always have to do it and let me give you a brief story about eating so I had a client who was following an eating plan that was working for her she felt great. She went to a family multi-family gathering a very special event and her very dear friend handed her this beautiful dessert but my friend didn't feel tempted because she wanted to accommodate her friends need to feel cared for herself. It put her into a spiral she didn't bring compromise to because she was so focused on I have to be good person to be a good friend.
