Boris Johnson's wife, Carrie, was there. It was her garden. At the time, there was a kind of loophole in the rules. He insisted quite angrily that nobody should suggest these social events. How dare they suggest that anybody was partying in Downing Street? I mean, I'm not sure I could fit 20 people in my garden but certainly if I had a table with booze and food and people milling around chatting, what else do you call it? Yeah, we reached a sort of new level of absurdity at that point, I think.
