The Importance of Cognitive Low Theory in Teaching

The idea that students can satisfactorily complete the tasks that we assign them were on their own and not learn what those tasks were designed to teach them is counterintuitive. A failure to appreciate the effects of cognitive low theory actually makes the achievement gap greater because you're teaching in a way that suits the higher treatments the high working memory students and it doesn't suit the low working memory students. What works for experts doesn't work for novices we need to be sensitive to those things so although you should know about it how do we make this seem a little more comprehensive as a theory do we think we need to do?
