Samsung's Face ID Sensor Is a Camera, You Know?

Samsung have done it on the fold and it looks like the cameras, that every image is smudgy. So that tells me that it is going to happen in less than eight years. The fact that Samsung can do it at all and would ship something with it means that it can be improved. Like if they knew it was impossible and there was no way, they wouldn't have done it. Because I'm sure there's some prototypes somewhere where it actually works well, they just can't make it at scale.
