The Power of Prayer
We've been conditioned to chase convenience and knees, especially in our pursuit of God. But basic anthropology will confirm that we crave something much more adventurous. Prayer is the place where all those seemingly contradictory parts of you become integrated. And it's so tempting to make it just this thing. Be still. I know that I'm God. Speak to the smounding. It's tempting to go there. We're led back to this life of being led by the Spirit of God.
