Are You a Giver or a Taker?

In the literature, they talk about reciprocity styles. Givers and takers are in some sense, the two ends of the spectrum. And then in between, you have matches - people willing to give but expecting you to give back. In an organization, one of these Adam Grant mentions and Plato does too, is the importance of having the matchers between the givers and the takers. But it's interesting that all of this is just reproducing the Republic of Plato. Right?
