Is Lit 1984 a Good Guide or a Misuse of History?
I think anytime there's a questioning of received narratives that have been that were written in the era of imperialism or the Cold War we know they're warped and need revision. I feel the right is too eager to cry you know Orwellian and make claims about history being rewritten and it's too easy so I mean and and I and they use his name and vocas name in ways that would make him turn over in his grave because he was not on the side of those who celebrated empire in any form what influence do you track this book is having besides sort of this the way in which these words have seeped into national consciousness?
