The outcomes primary was incidents of peri intubation hypoxemia. The key secondary outcome was first attempt success rate, which was defined as any insertion of a laryngoscope beyond teeth. Most patients reason for intubation was altered mental status due to poly trauma with associated head injury. Six motor vehicle accidents were the most common cause of trauma.
