A 63-year-old man was stabbed to death in the Bronx over an argument about a parking spot. Estimates of how many parking spaces there are per car range from four to nine, depending on where you live. 75% of the parking supply is unused at any given time, and that's assuming everybody's parked. Even in places that believe they have parking shortages, Rachel Weinberger found there were 45% more spaces than necessary during peak times.
