The Regulative Principle of Worship

The regulative principle of worship is saying that we only do those things in worship which god has commanded. It's an extension of soul scriptura, but it's also highly related to the nature of church authority and the authority that is exercised by the officers within t a church. In effect, the church was effective commanding me, or calling me to do something that the bible doesn't say i need to do. And i felt like i had to either do it or exempt myself from corporate worship. Neither are good solutions for me.
