Robert's Lawyer Says He Was Too Drunk to Confess
The victim's daughter testified that she woke him up at five o'clock in the morning, which is right before Cheryl came back. She smelled a strong odor of alcohol and said that Robert was, quote, passed out. Now his lawyer says he was too drunk to confess. They said that's ridiculous.
