What's the Sweet Spot for Average Pay Increases for Striking Workers?
The rail unions have settled in Scotland and in Wales for, I mean, it ranges but six and a half to 9%. And then you add on the conditions which the companies want. So if those conditions remain, even if the pay elements is increased, I just can't see this dispute ending. It does seem that people wanting to do their driving test now might be waiting around about that time because little noticed on the striking calendar is that driving examiners have been on strike for ages.
