In Aquinas, it's if the emotions of the passions are driving the car, we're in trouble. But if the will and the intellect are guiding and steering and attending to the human passions, then we have a whole relationship. And I think that's often where people would say, oh, holiness means get rid of emotion. No, there's something really, really wrong with that.
