The Importance of Trinity in Orthodox Christianity

People in the modern West have started to realise that the word God is not univocal. Paul says there are many gods and many lords, but then look what Paul does in 1 Corinthians 8. He's taking the Jewish confession of faith, the Shemah hero Israel,. The Lord, our God, the Lord is one. That's how the church is marked out over against the pagan world around. We are one God, one Lord people. And then as he says in 1 Corinthians 12, no one can say that except by the Holy Spirit.
