The Three Fundamental Passions of Spinoza
Spinoza's philosophy was modelled on Euclid's geometry. It consisted of a series of axioms and postulates from which various theorems were deduced. He called this trying to maintain yourself the conartis as sort of striving. The word passion suggests it's something passive that happens to us rather than an action, is that right?
