The Importance of Jerusalem in the Time of David
Jerusalem has been and continues to be holy for three of the great religions, Christianity, Judaism and Islam. It's a very old city it's referred to in literary works outside of the Bible that predate the time of David. There's an enormous amount of disagreement about what Jerusalem looked like and what the size of it was.
