"I had no idea what i was doing. I had never written before," he says. "It was just a tis obsession with a room drama that i had sort of cooked up, inspired by something i really saw, but changed a bunch of the facts" The novel is about an attorney looking for his big case in 19 84. It took three years to finish and five thousand hard backed copies were printed.
