When I was going through veterinary school it was textbook after textbook many hours of studying and then clinical training. So when I emerged from that in 2019 one of my very good friends who's a pretty near book twin to me recommended the shadow and bone trilogy to me and I immediately just bought it based off of recommendation. "I usually don't just buy books before I know if I like them or not but I just went for it and I just dove into that trilogy"
