If you wanted to take digital writing seriously it is not as much about the written content as it is about understanding and analyzing of the data. I would say spend six months on twitter create lists of people that you aspire to and want to learn from and only isolate one person in an echo chamber. After your first hundred followers you can monetize and monetization always feels good so start practicing longer form content writing.
